Bill Hicks doc on Radio Two
An hour-long Radio Two documentary telling the story of Bill Hicks, airs Tuesday 21st August at 10.30pm. Hicks, the controversial American comedian with a distrust of governments and a dark sense of humour, died in 1994 from pancreatic cancer but he’s a comedian who gets more popular each year, and was last year voted the 6th best stand-up ever.
The programme will feature interviews with Bill’s family, friends and fellow standups, plus clips of Bill’s released material and also some gems from the unreleased archives.
