Herring waxes Lyrical…
The Lyric Theatre has announced a brand new season of Sunday Night Comedy, hosted by Richard Herring, with his choice of some of the finest comedians working in the UK.
The first show of the season, on 30th September, sees Lucy Porter, Will Smith and guests including Jeremy Lion and comedy genius Simon Munnery. The second show, 7th October, showcases Harry Hill and Phill Jupitus in a rare appearance on the comedy circuit.
The 21st October show brings us one of the stars of BBC’s “The Thick of It” Chris Addison headlining a bill including Stephen Carlin and Matthew Holness, better known as Garth Merenghi. They will be joined by a comedian who can’t be named “but he’s the co-creator of one of the biggest British TV shows of the last decade” according to the Lyric.
Lee Mack and “King of the surreal one-liners” Milton Jones appear on October 28th.
