Two Johns South Bank Special

John Bird and John Fortune - the 1960sThe South Bank Show is recording a special celebrating the work of political comedy stalwarts John Bird and John Fortune, and tickets are now available to attend the recording on Friday 7th September.

The Two Johns, otherwise known as Bird and Fortune, are well-known for their collaboration with Rory Bremner but ‘The South Bank Show’ will be looking at their careers as a comedy duo in a special episode.

Melvyn Bragg will introduce the event and show a short retrospective of their career before the Johns themselves perform a sketch written especially for the show.
