Fry helps Four

The night of TV dedicated to the fiftieth birthday of Stephen Fry helped BBC Four enjoy its strongest ever summer according to the ratings.
“Stephen Fry Night” gave the channel its best daily share (2.82% over transmission hours) and its best performing documentary to air on the channel with Stephen Fry: 50 Not Out (641,000 and 3.68% share).
The Night consisted of a series of Fry-starring tv shows such as “Blackadder”, “QI” and “A Bit of Fry and Laurie”, as well as a documentary “50 Not Out” and an in-depth interview “Mark Lawson talks to Stephen Fry”.
