The Magners Paramount Comedy Festival is about to descend upon Brighton for a fun-filled three weeks.
Kicking off proceedings on Thur 4 Oct is Pam Ann strutting her stuff in “One World Alliance”.
During the next three weeks a huge number of comedians will be appearing, here are a few of note.
– David O’Doherty – If gentle whimsy is your thing, Irishman David O’Doherty will blow your mind!
– Paul Sinha – A frighteningly honest look at the absurdities of life and death.
– Josie Long – Edinburgh Fringe’s Best Newcomer in 2006, Josie is an absolutely uplifting, magical comedian.
– Andrew Lawrence – Nominated for Best show at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
– Tim Key – The wonderful world of Tim will take you to a place that has been described as both ‘poignant and excruciating’.
– Tom Basden – Best newcomer in Edinburgh this year – Tom performs his entire show without talking – plenty of singing though!
Also there will be a “Sketch Fest” with shows such as Aeneas Faversham by the Penny Dreadfuls, Pappy’s Fun Club, Idiots of Ants, The Maydays and Fat Tongue.
More information and tickets for all shows are available at the Dome Box Office on 01273 709 709.
