It’s a little over two weeks before the Manchester Comedy Festival but it’s already warming up to be a comedy treat.
There are over 100 shows across 28 venues with shows from household names such as Jimmy Carr with two dates at The Apollo, An Audience with Dave Spikey at The Comedy Store, Johnny Vegas hosts a charity event at the Sheridan Suite, Richard Herring makes his annual return to the Frog and Bucket and hit shows from Edinburgh Festival from Jason Cook, Brendon Burns, Rhod Gilbert and Ivan Brackenbury amongst many others.
Festival firsts come from Frankie Boyle and Scott Capurro at the Dancehouse, John Shuttleworth at the Comedy Store and also an evening of old School entertainment from Mick Miller with Jim Bowen and Duncan Norvelle.
