Fry and Wood up for Emmy Awards
British television has been nominated for more International Emmy Awards than any other country this year. UK drama, comedy and documentary have received eight nods, more than any other country, with the results announced on 19th November.
Stephen Fry’s acclaimed “The Secret Life of the Manic Depressive” has been nominated for best documentary, while Victoria Wood is up for best actress for “Housewife, 49″.
Other UK nominations were for “Little Britain”, Simon Schama’s “Power of Art”, “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?” and More4′s “Death of a President”.
