Just the tonic for saturday nights

Nottingham’s leading comedy club of fifteen years, Just the Tonic, returns to London following a 10 week sell-out run in Tufnell Park last year.  ‘Live from Leicester Square’ is a late night weekend series of shows at the Leicester Square Theatre, with a stellar line-up.

The opening night of London’s first Just the Tonic saw over 200 comedy-goers being turned away from the 100 capacity ‘Tufnells’ venue. For 2009, promoter Darrell Martin has decided to expand his wings once again and is bringing the esteemed comedy club to the Leicester Square Theatre. This change in venue is one more sign that Just the Tonic is fast becoming one of Britain’s most influential comedy nights.

From March 7th¸ every Saturday night at 10pm, Leicester Square Theatre and Just the Tonic will guarantee the very best of the alternative comedy circuit with confirmed guests including Tim Vine, Andrew Maxwell, Phil Kay, Josie Long and Chris Addison.
